The last months have been very difficult ones for me on many levels, all of which have resulted in little new writing and marketing of existing works. The hours and commute for my current work assignment, which began in September, restricted my available time though I was able to make some progress in writing the opening chapters to Book 2 of Town: Let Sleeping Bones Lie.

Unfortunately, all progress came to an abrupt stop on the evening of Thanksgiving when I learned that my dad suffered a traumatic brain injury due to a fall. Since then, the incident and aftermath has consumed my time, as everything was touch and go. Then just before year’s end, things took a downward spiral resulting in my father’s passing.

Needless to say, writing and marketing have taken the backseat to dealing with family issues (which are many), and I hope all of you reading this understand why you haven’t heard much for me for so long. Also know that as I try to process all this I’m finding writing as a truly therapeutic salve for my soul right now and that like all challenges I will weather this one with the support of family, friends, and fans. Thank you.
